I grew up with professional slowlaners as parents, I've been taught the generic ways of making money. Nothing against them I love them very much and will always. Something inside of me always told me I wanted to be more than just your average Joe. I was always fascinated with creating systems that can scale exponentially. I used to play a lot of video games like Minecraft and Rust, love to think outside the box to get ahead of the competition.
Fell into a major depression finishing high school and just went wherever the wind took me. Became an electrician and lived day to day.
Got into the whole "Self improvement" thing and was recommended to get MJ Demarco's books. By far the best 2 books I've ever read (Fastlane and Unscripted), went in expecting to only learn about how to make more money but instead he changed my entire view on money, life, society and taking responsibility + accountability for your actions. Another fantastic read is "How To Win Friends And Influence People", as an introvert that didn't have many social skills this is a fantastic book. Learning how to understand and communicate with others is an extremely good money making skill too.
Your brain health is essential for making money so I started eating ONLY healthy to a point where fruits started to taste like candy from avoiding sugar for so long. I still have a cheat meal once a week while stoned out of my mind haha. 150g - 200g of protein per day with cardio, weightlifting and good sleep keeps those dopamine receptors firing.
I'm happy with my life as it is, I don't even mind working 40 hours a week as I joke and get along great with my coworkers (Most of them are sidewalkers despite making 100k$+ a year but it's good to learn things from them). I don't care one bit about materialistic things, helping people and seeing them happy is what makes me happy. Being fit and healthy makes me happy.
This world is slowly going to shit. Resources are getting more scarce, global warming, people are getting weaker and everyone seems to be looking out only for themselves. So many people want to make money by doing jack shit or by attempting to sell garbage to others online that ends up in landfills which further contributes to the problem of consumerism.
I'm always reading and learning about anything I can do that contributes to society that I can scale and sell in order to make lots of money. I can then leave my job and spend all of those hours scaling further. Anyone with loads of money can make substantial changes to the world, I'm going to be one of those people
