    Sydney was my first, choice but as you said, I would have to live FAR out west and me being in the city center for most of the time doesn't really add up. As a lot of the fastlaners who started out, all I need is a bed, computer and food.

    If you have time, go travel the south island too. I only got around to it last year (I live in Auckland), but it has some of the most amazing sights EVER. And also bungy jumping is pretty cool :D. Enjoy your trip.
