I Think I'm the Worst "Entrepreneur" of All Time

    INTRO
You hit the nail on the head. That was indeed my mode of thinking, going solution-first without having a problem to solve. Getting leads is a problem as old as business itself, so that's what I'm going after with my latest post. I've noticed all website/ad agencies focus on features but nobody...

I Think I'm the Worst "Entrepreneur" of All Time

I couldn't agree more. It was just a moment of desperation ("throw anything at it" type of thing)... Shouldn't have even brought it up. I'll stick to the marketing/website niche for now (my latest post). Thanks for the sobering comment.

I Think I'm the Worst "Entrepreneur" of All Time

    INTRO
So here's what I've been up to in the past 24 hours: - Set up a Facebook page and ran the ugliest ad for building client-getting websites. Here it is (in my local tongue): Roughly translates to: "Websites that bring in more clients to the everyday business. $200. no fluff" /The average salary...

I Think I'm the Worst "Entrepreneur" of All Time

I'm actually ashamed to say: digital prints. This was my PDF deliverable. And here's the actual print: I abandoned the idea as soon as I opened the shop. Not even sure why I deemed it a good idea in the first place. I'm competing in a flooded marketplace with no moat and no value skew...

I Think I'm the Worst "Entrepreneur" of All Time

    INTRO
I ran cold email in Austin (contacted a bunch of restaurants that had copy-paste replies or no replies at all) and got a 0% reply rate. My sample size wasn't huge, but the total investment wasn't huge, either (just a 5-6 of hours total). I've had the domain for a while, so I didn't pay anything...

Appreciate the thoughtful reply. I agree -- muddy waters bring no clarity. As for the risky investments, I sleep well at night having gauged the risk. I probably came across as someone who couldn't make ends meet -- but I'm in a cozy spot and most of my peers would just chill in my situation.

Thanks for tuning in, Kak! It's the oldest tale, isn't it, of missed chances. Poker is a decade+ behind me now, not interested anymore. BTC is just savings, buy and forget. Currently looking to build a CENTS business I can stick with.

Thanks, Lou! I might've come off as a lazy slacker -- totally get it. Reality is, I'm still useful and worth my salary, just not giving it 100% as I focus on other things. As for BTC, it's just savings. I'm ready to part with every penny.

Hey, amazing Fastlaners! I'm a 35 y.o. from Bulgaria and have been trying to escape the rat race since 2013 or so. Been lurking here for a while. I've read a ton of business books, but MJ's are the best by a landslide. Here's a timeline: [SUCCESS?] In 2013, after graduating, got a job at a...
