[PROGRESS THREAD] (24 y/o) Sick and cognitively impaired for 2 years... Doing the work anyway

    EXECUTION
That's awful. No doubt that has had a big impact on your health. There's no easy way to deal with this, but if you're going to be of any use to yourself or even your mom when she comes out of this, you'll have to take care of yourself first, right? I'll be sure to pray for your family.

Great thread. Your timing is perfect. I've been dealing with something very similar, and like you, I have a tough time working for extended periods. I hope you recover fully, but it's good that you aren't letting the setbacks keep you back. I'll keep this thread bookmarked to remind me to keep...

I was glad to find your original post and read about your success from 2020 until now. It's inspiring. Thanks for the updates.

Teaching Developers to Build Full Applications and Help Entrepreneurs

Update: My ugly landing page somehow convinced 8 people to sign up to my email list. I noticed my site bounce rate was pretty high, so I splurged on a commercial WordPress theme from Thrive Themes. Bounce rate dropped a good deal, and I think it will be worth the investment as I drive more...

Slowly making progress here. I've got a lot to learn as I prepare the first module for my course. I've also been reading a book called Expert Secrets - Russell Brunson to learn how to tell better stories and motivate people to buy into what I'm pitching. Rather than shoot for perfection, I...

My apologies to those that subscribed to the thread expecting quick updates. I had to take some time off to complete some offline duties. I'm finally getting settled into a new office, and I'm gearing up to begin work again. I've taken some time each day to sketch out the course progression...

Would you like help learning to code / build your own apps?

Whew, finally back to the forum after some time away to tackle some offline duties. This offer didn't attract much attention, so I've decided to focus my efforts on another project detailed here: Progress Thread - Teaching Developers to Build Full Applications and Help Entrepreneurs

Would you like help learning to code / build your own apps?

Sorry, @Maxboost . I haven't done any iOS / Android apps, so I do not know the procedure for getting an app in their respective stores. I can't imagine it's too complicated, though. As for developing the game itself, again, I'm not sure. I'm not a game developer, so I'm really not sure what...

Would you like help learning to code / build your own apps?

Thank you @AvEngr. and @just10 Unfortunately, no one but yourselves have expressed any interest. Nevertheless, I have started working on a course aimed at helping developers get more proficient / confident at taking an app from start to finish. It may help. Just shoot me a PM with your emails...

Yes, I don't doubt that for a moment. I worked behind the scenes with another that was producing courses, so I got a first-hand look at what's involved. I'll update this thread later with my plans to validate before creating a large course.

Thanks @Bugs Bunny. That's a good idea, though I'm more interested in validating through some other channels like Twitter, Medium, etc. I will keep the in-person workshop idea in my back pocket, though. Front End Masters does that, and it seems to work very well.

Most definitely. And just think -- the example you set now will save them from the same dissatisfaction when they're older.

Welcome! I've got 3 growing boys myself, so I completely understand your frustrations. You're obviously no stranger to hard work, so as long as you work smart, you'll do well.

Find Trustworthy Developers to Build Your MVP Without Risking Money $$

Correct. The only way to really learn is to go through the process. But you don't have to go through it as a developer. Successful projects include people of many diverse backgrounds. As for miscommunications... experienced professionals suffer miscommunications all the time; it's how we all...

Find Trustworthy Developers to Build Your MVP Without Risking Money $$

Thank you, @ApparentHorizon -- this is exactly how I hope other developers will react. I'm working on an article that really highlights my driving motive for this, from a devs perspective. I'll be sure to share it in my progress thread. I'd be interested to know if it rings familiar with you, too.
