I think I found a job in hell

    MINDSET
I'm going to stop checking on the forum. Not because of the response, but because I've found out what I need to do and how to go about it. I've been thinking last night about what's available to me and thought of a way to immediately get in front of the people I need today. I don't know if it...

I focused on web design. So marketing for the most part to get more people. I have a small tech background so I built every site or landing page from scratch and included analytics and at times ad campaigns and copywriting. I'm not an ads guy or copywriter however.

That's where I got the username. This is what got me to post. I've been eager to get things started. I was supposed to be able to access the CRM and start sales training nearly a week ago. I follow up and get shut down so I'm just sitting around making a poor use of time. I know it's common...

I'll probably keep it pushing for a while to get the experience and save a bit to startup. I'm thinking mobile car repairs as I've got some experience in the auto industry. Once I build a decent customer base again in the day job, I'll start marketing in my network and start taking a few jobs...

I am not able to make commission yet. I can't make commission for quite a while. That's just how it goes as they want to train you for 1-2 months before you start prospecting/taking deals. So yeah that's well and good once you're able to.

Yeah. It's just hard to afford everything right now but it can make for a good place to build honestly.

My bad to the bald men out there nothing wrong with that. My manager was taking digs at me so had to call him out.

I haven't fully understood posts you've linked yet as I've got to think about it, but yeah that perception on "The answer to "I HATE my job"" was the reason I went for a low-paying job in the first place. To learn the systems, be able to help different people with their problems, and learn...

That "DO" part is the problem. I sold cars, small stuff, serviced cars, lawns, web design, ads, but none of it is consistent or sustainable without leads. So I'm in a position where I'm not making enough money to run ads and constrained to the day job during the week. Really the only thing I see...

Assets are one thing, but I need a lot of money to make them worth investing in. I'll put some aside for stocks but my main focus is to get off the hour/salary/base pay to invest hard. Yeah I've done the whole freelancing thing before and have an account on Upwork for contracting. It's been...

Chicago Not sure I haven't thought about it. I wake up thinking I need more consistent sales outside of the workplace and to reach more people. I'm stuck at my day job most days so limited to calling/social media/running ads. I don't. I've been using FB and Nextdoor for leads. Would you...
