F Tinder tell me where you men hang out at.

    PEOPLE HOT!
Why so much hate for bars and nightclubs? I'm in my mid-twenties and couldn't think of a better place to meet people. They are the fast lane of the dating world. People are literally there to meet mates (either for hookups, or possibly long term relationships) You just have to take what you see...

    At the beginning

    INTRO
Thanks for bringing this back. Very interesting read. It's good to see some physical product development here versus the typical software stuff.

    NEW Mobile App Feedback: IDKWTD

    SAAS / APPS WEB/DIGITAL
Not sure if it has been mentioned yet or if it's in the app bit you should make it location based. I.e. the things to do are things do to do around your current location. Maybe tie into Google maps or some other map.

    I Have A Productocracy

    MINDSET
How about Kickstarter campaigns? Never done one myself, but seems like a decent way to validate a productocracy. People come to your page knowing that you're product is not ready yet and willing give their dollars to support your project in hopes of receiving the product when finished.

3D Prototyping, pre-selling and developing a physical product.

    EXECUTION
Sorry, provisional patent application. See: Provisional application - Wikipedia Provisional application - Wikipedia If it's a unique idea that is non obvious then yes you should be able to patent a system of existing non unique parts.

Should I buy this app on Flippa? (Month-over-month growth)

    WEB/DIGITAL
What is so bad about Flippa? I had never heard of it until your post. Looked it up quick, seems like an interesting idea, at least the app side of it. Just curious, thanks.

    Has anyone Licensed an invention?

+1 for One Simple Idea. The path outlined in his book is one I have been following but yet to have success, not because the path is wrong (it's gold). Just beware Stephen Key sets you up for a few action fakes, such as creating a business name and doing general businessy things prior to...

    Pre-selling/marketing advice

    MARKETING
When you say partnered with someone, do you mean you took on a business partner to help with the software development? How long before you started development did you begin marketing your software?

    Anyone here do 3D models?

Sounds like you need a 3d model. Rending is when you make a faux view of your model in it's intended environment. Once you have a model you can make mechanical drawings from it which will show your manufacturer how to make your part. I can help you out with this, this is right up my alley...

    Pre-selling/marketing advice

    MARKETING
Thanks for an awesome response. That was the swift kick between the legs I needed right now. Do you recommend this approach even if I chose to have the software develoed first thing and avoid the "coming soon" period? What if the software is the service? In other words the service wouldn't...

    Pre-selling/marketing advice

    MARKETING
Thanks for the materials. Unfortunately the solution is the software I plan to offer, so I couldn't start by offering a service and then turning it into the software. I can make nice(fake) mock-ups screenshots of the program and what I envision it doing, then work the marketing hard, but I just...
