By the age of 19 I was a homeless woman with a 9 month old that had transitioned from living in the Y.W.C.A. to living in a homeless shelter. I had never met my birth mother and my father was serving a 20 year sentence in prison where he later passed after 19 years' served. I was a single mom for 6 years' and determined to create a better future for my children. Fast forward...I went from a G.E.D. to a Master's, working for the largest youth organization in the world, largest insurance agency in the world, the largest employer in Duval county and now retiring from a Fortune 500 company that I have been with for nearly 10 years' before 40! I own multiple businesses and reading The Millionaire Fastlane in 2013 helped me make the decision to retire in 2014 and join the land of possibilities and opportunities!
