Flipping my way to financial freedom.
Only the VR6 engines have chains. The 1.8t/2.8 have belts. Audi 4.2 chain (mostly B6 S4's 2004-2005) have serious issues with tensioners, resulting in 3k in dealer parts alone. I've seen a few issues with the 3.2 audi/vw timing chain too, they stretch and bend valves. This particular car had...- Mark

OFF-TOPICI usually can tolerate the snow until January and even enjoy some of the blizzards. (love winter driving with the proper equipment, tires/AWD) The amount of snow we've received in the last month has been a bit overwhelming even for MN.- Mark
