What exactly counts as an ‘angle’ in Facebook ads? (Genuine question)

    MARKETING
Ahhh okay I got you.. its almost as if you start with big picture swings, then refine the angles as you progress closer and closer to true product market fit. I guess the confusion came for me, as the product we offer is very niche, but I guess within that niche there are still a wide array of...

What exactly counts as an ‘angle’ in Facebook ads? (Genuine question)

    MARKETING
Hey Meta ads experts, Long story short, I'm currently testing meta ads for my E-Com brand and just had a quick question I hoped someone could answer about "Angles". Might sound stupid, but when people refer to testing angles.. are they leaning more towards testing large demographic angles...

Critique my site. Is there anything obviously wrong?

    MARKETING WEB DESIGN
To me this looks like a scam site from about 15 years ago.. Clean it up a lot and only keep the truly relevant stuff.. play around with font sizes to maximise clarity.

Any luck for UK? Obviously the market is smaller but wondering if the same would apply.

How do I move faster? Ecom company sold 300 units over the past year - 10k revenue.

    SCALING
Thanks Dan, great analogy by the way. Yeah you’re right, I guess fundamentally it’s what works for me and what I’m willing to part with. I think I was just trying to judge what “normal” is. As in people who have dealt with 100s of wholesale accounts, what do they typically see regarding margins...

Yes, all were the same company offering the same product. All wanted to stock in their venues. The first pitches I quoted a profit margin for them of about 30%, which may have been too low. I’ve changed my pricing to offer 45% margins for 10MOQ which has got a new party interested. They said...

I’d say probably more like 15 hours a week. There was a long period where I was setting up an eBay store (finding stock to get to 200 listings etc) that took away form the ecom buisness. I’m at a point now where I only source stock on Sundays and get all my photos done then, then I list daily...

I definitely haven’t done enough ads. I switched them off a long time ago to focus on generating quick cash to pay the bills, only recently started turning them on again and sold about units last month. But actually ended up selling out quicker than anticipated so they’re all off till new stock...

I have cash, thinking maybe I should use more of it. I guess being new to the game, I wanted to get my skills to a point where I waste the least cash.

Hey, Yes, there are more products I can add. I’m in the process of testing a new product that I know people will like (it’s a different take on an existing product). Yes and no, I ship myself from shopify but we are also running FBA. FBA I haven’t managed to get ads to work but we average...

Thanks for alll the responses, I’ll go through and reply to each individually. The main reason is you guys are right, on some level I was dabbling. When I started this the money wasn’t flowing in, so I started reselling clothes to pay the rent. Took a few months of hard graft at that to get it...

Thanks for the response, appreciate it it! To date, the product is not a repeat purchase, it’s a one off, but we do have room in the niche to sell consumables. We also have room to branch off into very high ticket products (3-10k) but based my financial situation and risk of doing this, this...

So… I have this little ecom company that’s got some traction, but feel like things are going to slow. I wanted I wanted to explain a little bit about where I’m at, for anyone interested to read about some ecom metrics or thinking of starting ecom. The purpose of this thread, for myself, is to...

    Choose Hard First... Easy Last...

    MINDSET
I’d say, the closer you get to finishing, the more accurate your perception of how much time the rest is going to take. So the difference will be that the guy who is doing the harder things first stuff first (who feels like they’re behind) will go as fast as possible. The person who does the...
