36yo career change - Collected my Slow-lane redundancy package, looking to move onwards (Australia, Melbourne).

    INTRO
Slight update. Following my redundancy payout I've decided to get a slow lane job here in Melbourne for the next 6 months to a year, to give me some income. Also, being back in my old role in Civil Engineering will give me access to the software I can disrupt with AI. The licenses are $$$...

36yo career change - Collected my Slow-lane redundancy package, looking to move onwards (Australia, Melbourne).

    INTRO
Since my last post I took redundancy, now have no job, and I've been reconsidering my options for short term income. In the medium term I will look into using the money to start a business or a fastlane business (AI tools as advised). In the short term finally it's go-time and I have to...

AI Is Going to 'Replace Everybody' in Several Fields, According to the 'Godfather of AI.' Here's Who He Says Should Be 'Terrified.'

    NEWS
I'm having the same experience, and as someone who is quite thorough if I don't understand something, i'm finding when I chech the AI output there are lots of hidden errors. In part perhaps because it's not really thinking, it's just drawing the road ahead based on what's going on in the rear...

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Random Chat Thread...

    Quit Alcohol. Try it.

    MINDSET
I've quit (for now). Decided to this morning. I'm not a big drinker but i'm adjusting to being single again after a long relationship, and even 2 pints of beer can make me feel pretty miserable in the morning and waste a whole day. Must really be not good for my brain chemistry.

@ygtrhos - Much appreciate the wisdom, thankyou. By the way, my trade is a Structural Engineering drafter - if I can assist with your connection details AI app in any capacity please let me know. Also I am here to act as an import agent if you have any German manufactured goods that are worth...

36yo career change - Collected my Slow-lane redundancy package, looking to move onwards (Australia, Melbourne).

    INTRO
:praise: Melbourne, Australia (UK migrant, arrived 2017, now have citizenship). I posted here 2.5 years ago. At the time I was 33 years old. I had a slow-lane job in a blue-chip company, doing engineering drawings. I was paid quite well (by my standards at the time, A$120,000 plus pension) but...
