its been 2 months since i quit my corporate job.
my family is keep pressuring me.
all of them.
i was born in big family of employees. none of us were entrepreneur.
they play guilty. my parent play guilty by saying they worry if i don't have a stable job. and might get sick if i continue like this. my mom said all big family members called her just to make sure she is ok after my resignation. my parent said what neighbors will say about me, used to be bright student, is unemployment right now, no difference with any other loser.
i bought a house to get out from this pressures, but it takes 6 month to build.
meanwhile i have to hear people whining all day about why i unemployment.

i understand their worry, since i haven't make any executions yet. i'm still searching and searching my fast-lane road.

Wait, What?

i bought a house to get out from this pressures, but it takes 6 month to build.

if you want out of the house, don't build. Rent.
why did you do this?

its been 2 months since i quit my corporate job.
in 2 months you have done exactly what, to find a fastlane? why did you quit before you even identified where you were going?

meanwhile i have to hear people whining all day about why i unemployment.
get used to this. this will be around the rest of your life, as an entrepreneur

what neighbors will say about me, used to be bright student, is unemployment right now, no difference with any other loser.
Get used to this also.

all this is normal

but my question is,
why buy a house? that just sucks money out of you and gives you NO flexibility while your going through the process. and like you mentioned it takes 6 months. and that's time you have to have pay attention to building. instead of working on a business.

1st thing.

2 months? that can be a long time to find a fastlane business.

are you spending 8-10 hrs a day looking? because thats about how much time you should be focused on it.
I think you need to reassess where you are at.

Good luck

I live in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
Slow hard road to the fastlane

You will be ok -- you just took a different route, not the one most suggested or the wisest. What you have done is jumped before you know where you will land. I have there and know that for some (not most) it takes something drastic like this to happen for us to get what we need... you will be ok but it may get rough before it gets ok.

Have you identified your passion or gift as yet? If so then that will make it a little easier, as it should identify what path you are going to take or vehicle you will ride in the fastlane. Anyway, don't go back -- you must move forward faster, meaning you need to work harder finding a fastlane vehicle (business) and once you have done that, work like heck on it to get it up to speed or soon you will be out of funds and willing to take the first ride, fastlane or not, which comes along. Not the best position to be as it can get really ugly for some.

Ignore your family.
i would if both my parents are in healthy condition.
but my mom is kinda sensitive women. she over-think everything that leads her to overwhelming stress.
i really need to move faster. by any means necessary.

i know my talent and passion. but how to create massive values from both, this i don't know yet.

I find it pretty annoying to hear of your family's struggles, so you say to them, "When I get to where I want to be, I will make sure you get taken care of as well." You know, let them work a little less, enjoy the things they want to do since they've given me things my whole life, etc. Then, all you hear them babble about, my mom especially, "You don't have the money to buy a house (for flipping purposes, and I make more than she does), you need a J-O-B," blah blah nonsense. I know they are family, but good lord...that should automatically mean they support you in whatever you choose to do, and providing their advice only when they are knowledgeable on the subject; but they don't.

Similar situation, just simply ignore it and respect that they are living under a whole different viewpoint & belief system...

Just because you are unemployed doesn't make you a lose, who defines what a loser is? Who defines what a well lived life is? ONLY YOU

It's funny that my parents wanted me to be a CPA as I was very gifted in school but purposely got sub-par grades (just to graduate) and now while I'm not in the "fastlane" fully yet, I do happen to have a CPA friend who wants MY LIFE. I always laugh with him that my father would've loved me to be living his "CPA" life.

As I always say to myself "Do I want to simply SURVIVE or do I want to live?"

The quality of life I've lived in the past few years has made me so fulfilled that I could literally die right now and still consider my lifetime package "a life well lived"

Having your judgement questioned is hard, particularly when it comes from family members.

At the same time, having your judgement questioned is a key piece of being an entrepreneur. Though Buffet is a controversial figure, I really like his statement that is along the lines of: to be successful in business you have to be contrarian and you have to be right.

Contrarians/visionaries have their judgement questioned by everyone.

It doesn't stop one you achieve success. In fact, it just gets magnified. Then, you have people questioning your judgement on twitter, facebook and in the media. Look at it as free training for what will be a lifetime of criticism if you are lucky and hardworking enough to get that much success/attention.

It's good that you finally moved out to follow your own path.

Yes, you could have rented while you're finding your way in the fast lane.

But, move on. It's done.

You have eliminated one obstacle, start moving forward to your fast lane goal.

OH GOD, suddenly most people around me feel superior and outsmart me.
my old inferior peers with minimum wage job suddenly feel on top of the world when around me.
