    Don't hire someone for their connections. Like others have said, you can find your own connections. Also, having a lazy worker on your workforce will bring down the team moral and will make everyone else lazier.

    Fiona is right. The ability to pronounce and spell the business name are the most vital points. I'd also try and stay away from using your initials and personal name as well unless you are promoting yourself and talents that you alone have (such as your photography website).
