Is growing a personal brand on Facebook worth it?

    MARKETING
I think building a strong personal brand/online presence is always worth it no matter what path you may go down in the future. It doesn't take a huge time or money investment to do it either.

Learn a new skill or Outsource?

SIDE HUSTLE SCALING EXECUTION WEB DESIGN
I wouldn't understand why it would take a year to get a website up. Is it possible to start with something like WordPress first and then upgrade the site once you've got a proof of concept? With ChatGPT becoming tech literate is pretty streamlined and quick so that shouldn't be an issue for you...

Has MJs thoughts changed on outsourcing?

    WEB DESIGN
As MJ said above, I can't re-call a time in any of his books when he mentions outsourcing is bad. Do you have a specific page(s) you're referencing? I believe in the Fastlane book MJ mentions the time value of money as well, so if your time is worth $100/hour you shouldn't be doing $5-$20/hr...

    My lawyers are too much

    QUESTION
Why did you hire a lawyer to do a trademark? Trademarking is a little bit harder than creating an LLC but I think it took me 30-60 mins to do a trademark. I highly suggest using chatgpt for stuff like this going forward.

[Question] What Are You Working Towards Right Now?

    QUESTION
Hey Scott man! I'm on the e-comm side, and have been involved in martial arts fairly consistently for the past 10 years. Actually just got my jiu jitsu blue belt last year in July. For a long time I was aimlessly wondering from business to business - just starting multiple things at once, all...

[Question] What Are You Working Towards Right Now?

    QUESTION
Personally, I'm working towards building up sales on my 1st product release on my new business and networking more. For a long time I was on a "lone wolf" grind, and while it got me in a really good place, just got too lonely.

Google Ads vs Facebook Ads in 2023: Pros & Cons?

    MARKETING
For e-commerce I've had the most success with influencer campaigns. I don't think Google Ads in your instance would be better, maybe running FB ads with UGC videos would work better and getting your product in the hands and posts of those who have a ton of followers on the platform(s) your...

I AM GOING TO GIVE MORE VALUE THAN AMAZON

    MINDSET
If OP isnt a troll this post could be a masterclass on the effects of giving participation ribbons to kids in school. Love to see younger kids ambitious but put down the books, go make your first $100 and then make a real progress thread before spamming the forum.

Offline Business Ideas. Is Online Business Oversaturated?

    IDEA EXECUTION
Offline businesses are generally a lot more labor intensive but much easier to get work for. If you have any business sense at all, you can generate 1,000 business leads quick and run a few cold email tests with Woodpecker or Lemlist to see what businesses in your area need the most help with...

    HOT! CHAT
Exactly this. Very similiar boat, I was 90 lbs in 10th grade HS. 185 lbs now. Food is everything for weight loss and gain, main thing is track your calories and protein with an app. I use cronometer which is free and lets you scan barcodes.

Getting My Health Sorted So I have More Energy For My Goals

    HEALTH
Are you able to fit a boxing/kickboxing class into your schedule a few times a week? Could be great exercise and gets you out of the house learning a new skills in a new environment with new people. Good on you for counting calories too and not just "eating healthy foods" like many people do.

What would y'all do if you were 16?

    OFF-TOPIC QUESTION
I'd focus on finishing HS, running a local service business (potentially a part time sales job too at a supplement or phone store just to get a grasp of basic sales), lifting a lot, building a network, and learning kickboxing/jiu jitsu. Hard to go wrong with that combo.

Advice Needed: How to get over public humiliation?

    OFF-TOPIC
This is standard in the corporate world. You just have to know when to leave, have an in-demand skill set and be able to interview well for whatever comes next. As far as what you can do? Start understanding these things aren't about you, its about them. When I read your original post I don't...
