WTF, How do you do it so easily?

Hi! I'm from Poland and each time somebody wants to introduce SaaS/app/online course has to spend some money on lawyers for necessary documents like terms, privacy policy, and so on. It isn't a small amount of money so introducing a new digital product on the market isn't so simple.

The second thing is that directing the product to the whole world for USD instead of only to Poland for local currency creates further legal obstacles.

On the other hand, I read often on this page a lot of stories and I see that people sell their products so easily.

For example: GOLD! - EXECUTION - I sold my app for $65,000. I learned to code last May.

Guys, how do you do it? How much money do you pay for the necessary documents? How do you introduce your digital products so easily? I see your terms and privacy policies are so short and simple. WTF. In Poland, the situation is totally different

I feel like you're thinking a few steps too far. Do you already have a ready SaaS? Do you have paying customers?

Get a few customers on board, test and validate your SaaS, and create the mentioned docs from templates you can find on Google. When you have more users and are getting some revenue, invest in hiring a professional who can update your documents.

There are many free templates and also a ton of providers who can help you create these docs for less than $100.

I validated the idea and have the first potential customers, but how can I get the first payments before preparing legal documents? I can't because in my country I can get financial and legal penalties for any irregularities in the documents. I read a lot of articles and eh.. okay, there are some people who start with documents from generators, but there is the risk.

I'm from Poland too and working on my saas (well, not entirely saas, but more like web service). The laws here are often an inheritance from officially socialist government and the complexity of the laws effectively makes it difficult to run even a small business, but for all I know you don't have to register your business or do other legal stuff if your income does not exceed 1745PLN (~400USD) monthly. I don't know the scale of your venture, but if landing your first clients won't bring you more than the sum above, you should be good. But with emphasis on the word "should" as here you can get yourself into legal trouble even for few exceeding bucks.

Edit: I'm not sure if this rule applies if you already have some stable income

As your neighbor in the west I know your pain! For that kind of business you better go to US!

Can you set up the business in another country, for example as a US LLC?
That comes with its own problems of course (taxes, possibly having to follow both US and Polish regulations), but then at least people wouldn't immediately know you're from Poland, so might make you less of a target.
Once you're profitable, you could look at fixing things.

Set up the company. Do it right from the beginning.

If you don’t have enough money for it, figure out another way.

Real entrepreneurs don’t see a small obstacle and think, “OMG better quit now.” Entrepreneurship only appears easy to people that don’t let anything stop them. It isn’t easy.

We figure out ways to press through. So do that. I don’t know anything about Poland, but even if I had a crappy job and $1000 in the bank I’d be finding a way to start a business.

There is a way. Even if you truly can’t afford it.

- Get a small investor. You have some validation you said…

- Find someone that already has a complementary business and offer him something to be a division of his and just contractually own your division.

- Look at starting the company in another country.

Stop thinking it's easy.

People write a few paragraphs about their journey. A lot of people will tell you about their hard times, but it'll be just one sentence. And after a few paragraphs, voila they have a successful event.

That's fantastic.

The people on here are busy. To try and bring the value, they write their stories out, but nobody could write the book of their lives.

So don't get it twisted. Nobody here has had it easy. Everyone has to put in the work. Everyone had to go out and find answers. Everyone had to go and make things happen.

Everyone faces moments of doubt and fear and ignorance.

The successful ones don't let that stop them. They go out and do it anyway.

as others have written:
you read it as: I started entrepreneurship last May and allready am so successful…

Instead read like : I m an entrepreneur since 28 years, I learned 100s of tons of stuff how to grow a company and last May, I decided to learn code while I buold another business around it. And yes, I was successful like the 30 times before. And the times I failed the first 100 times are long gone.

Imo that gives you a better feeling for the situation.



Btw, I started 35 years ago with my first business and I am absolutely unsuccessful as an entrepreneur.
Why? Because I m the reincarnation f all reasons you can read in This forum, why one can fail!

I m sure I could sell, but I m bad at sourcing.
I m afraid of loosing my money, when I invest. (Trap of a too good salary)
I m afraid of getting punished, when s o wants to fU## me.( same as yours)
And so on.

My advice:….. is senseless for you, as I am not who and where you want to be.

But read again, what the goldboys wrote and go after it!
