I'm just beginning my day and I realized something... See, I created a forum on one of my websites last night. I didn't think about it too much before I did it, I just did it. I took action.
I sent an email to a tiny portion of my list announcing the launch of the forum then went to bed.
This morning I logged in to see if anyone had started any threads. Nothing.... Hmm.
"I wonder what this screen looks like if I'm not logged in."
Log out and see that you must be logged in to create a new post. How do I log in?
There's no way to log in or create an account. Whoops!
Fail...
I better figure out how to create a registration form so people can post on my forum.
This all happened so fast that I almost didn't realized this was a failure. I don't think about failure anymore. The emotion was mild. I didn't start sweating like I used to. I calmly fixed the problem. It took about 10 minutes.
I probably fail at least 10 times every day. I learn from it and get a little better at everything I'm doing.
I used to dread failure so much that I didn't try anything. Can you relate?
Each failure is a stepping stone to success...
Where have you failed today?
