If you guys were looking for a house cleaning service and you came across a site:

1. What information would you be looking for?
2. What would your objections be?
3. What is one thing that would probably seal the deal for you?

This is what I'm thinking as a flow chart for the landing page:

1. First Section: 3 unique benefits of my company and the 100% guarantee.
2. Little introduction of the company (with a link to a more in depth about-us page)
3. State the problem at hand (maintaining a house takes a lot of time and is stressful)
4. How we can solve the problem ("how-it-works" and features)
5. Testimonials
6. Quick recap of benefits and guarantee with a call to action.

I'm open to any criticism and suggestions.
Thanks a ton for taking some time to read and help me out, as time is your most important asset, I appreciate it immensely! :)

A lot of people looking for cleaners in my area are only interested in 2 things: availability and personal cleanliness. Cost is a distant third.

Your flowchart only needs 3 things: your schedule, a call to action, and video testimonials

One of the companies that comes to our little Chamber of Commerce events has this tag line: "Your carpets are dirty - you know it, we know it. Call us."

As a landlord...

Availability, I need to hard schedule.
Verifiable references, I will call them.
Cost, it needs just to be reasonable.

In that order.

Thanks so much! I actually have a whole online booking system where it only takes 60 seconds to book an appointment and shows all the available days/times. I have a video testimonial from fiverr, not sure if I want to use it yet or not as I'm not established yet.

I plan on using the 3 point adwords technique you tought me in one of your posts, Search Term, Ad, Landing page all in sync. I'm thinking of adding how I come to the price on the pricing page as it is flat rate, based on number of bedrooms and baths, not hourly.

Would an online booking scheduler suffice? We are a little higher priced, but you get a satisfaction guarantee, on top of other signifigant feautures.

1. Some proof that you are trustworthy and will do a thorough job.
2. I think if I come to your site looking for cleaning, I want to buy your service. Make it easy for me to do that.
3. I don't mind spending extra money on that as long as it's worth it. Maybe a satisfaction guarantee would be good, or a coupon on the first service so I can feel like I don't have to invest as much to try it out.

Hey! thanks for replying :) I have a complete satisfaction guarantee and instant online booking, the coupon for the first time is a pretty damn good idea.

Allow people to gift the coupon to family and friends. This doesn't make them feel like sales people, but makes them think of who they can give this gift to...

If someone searches for "cleaners <location>" then make sure you put the location into the ad and landing page. Check, and you'll find your competitors rarely do.

Watch this video:

Also check out the lead gen thread in my sig, and the 70 min interview.

Paid search might work very well for you.

I would say show up on time and not in a time window.

Sometimes companies will give a time window where they will show up from say 10-3 (as an example). This causes the home owner to have to wait around for the person to show up. A wasted day will make a customer unhappy.

If you guys were looking for a house cleaning service and you came across a site:

1. What information would you be looking for?
2. What would your objections be?
3. What is one thing that would probably seal the deal for you?

1. Price, availability, credentials
2. Concerns about trustworthiness, not just in doing a good job, but also concerns about someone scoping out the place to rob it.
3. A recommendation from someone I trust.

I've been looking for a cleaning person for months, with zero success. Why? Because I'm reluctant to go through a service due to the fact that the employees change so much, and you never know who's going to show up in your house next. My area is upper middle class. Almost everyone (except for me, it seems) has a cleaning person. None of these cleaning people are taking new clients, because they're absolutely booked. My husband is an electrician. He meets a ton of people who have wonderful cleaning people. He always asks, "Are they taking new clients." The answer is always, "No, they're booked."

In summary: A lot of people here have cleaning people, but almost all of them don't want to use a service. Many, like me, would rather do without. Trust seems to be the biggest issue. Not sure if that helps, but I figured I'd mention it just in case. Good luck with your venture!

I would like to add:

I'd like one that will also wash, fold and hang clothes
Clean dog poop
Bring their own chemicals, have an organic option also.

I once hired a slightly more expensive but still reasonably priced cleaner because they said just one thing in their ad that convinced me and I still remember it; "We're friendly and we take pride in our work" so for me, the experience was more important than the price as long as I could afford it and it was reasonable. I imagined someone smiling and happy taking great care in the job - preferably whistling while they worked. Not really but you know what I mean. Good luck with your business.

Preferably middle to upper class.
Add "attention to detail" to your list. I want to know that a professional cleaning service is going to get the job done right every time. No cutting corners.

In case you weren't aware, there are a ton of people starting cleaning services after one guy documented his who process on Reddit. From that he founded a couple of companies that do all sorts of things

Check out http://www.grooveliving.com/ they have a private Facebook group (Launch 27 if I recall) also with a lot of people building maid services. Staffing will be your biggest headache.
