Hey!

So I've posted a thread in here a while ago asking how should I learn copywriting but many said its hard and there are othher skills that are easier and faster to learn and that can earn me money that require way less that copywriting.

And thats why Im here,to get a suggestion.

What should I learn to make money online? Programming? Web Design? Google Ads?

Going based on what you posted, I don't see you getting anywhere at all.

Your mindset is totally wrong.

The question you are asking this forum is basically

"Hey guys, tell me something I can do that requires little effort or investment on my part but will also make me a lot of money quickly"

If the answer to that question existed, than every person on this planet would be wealthy.

How much effort or thought have you actually put into your plans? From what you posted it doesn't even look like you have thought of any plans? Instead of posting any genuine plans or ideas, you're being lazy and just asking this forum to give you plans instead of doing it yourself.

Another glaring issue I see, is that you seem to lack any understanding of what providing value means. Providing value is at the very foundation of entrepreneurship.

Your post is all about you you you and how we can help you make money.

Do you think anyone on this planet gives a s*** that you want to make money? Exactly.

You know what people do care about though? What the hell can you do for me and why should I spend my time or money with you.

You aren't going to find the answers you are looking for by doing what you're doing. To me, it looks like you're mentally masturbating and going in circles. Posting dumb questions to feel like you're doing something isn't really doing something, regardless of how it makes you feel.

You won't know what you need to learn, until you learn that you need to learn it. That means you need to stop wasting your time and energy with crappy post like this one.

Find a problem and start solving it. After you have identified the problem, learn what you need to learn so you can solve it.

Is coding useful to learn? The answer to that completely depends on what the problem is and the context surrounding it.

I do :smile2:.

He reminds me of many friends in my 16-18 that actually wanted to do something, but had a flawed mindset and were money-chasing instead. He's young and lives in a country that's pretty poor. SCRIPT is very strong there. He had ZERO chances to get the right mindset in his age and surroundings. It's probably hard for someone from a first-world country to understand his situation, to put yourself in his place. As long as he's willing to learn and put a lot of effort into it, he deserves some help (at least from me)...

Completely agree with everything else in the post though.

@hoponthebop please get the mindset right first. Then learn a way to provide value online.

Update:
Your posts sound like you almost want to steal money online. It doesn't work that way. Money aren't printed from nowhere. It's always a voluntary exchange where you get something (money) for something else (value).
Here's an old MJ's video that probably can help you the most now:

Damn man, you made another thread after your last one asking how to make money online?

When is it going to hit you? Everyone else needs to stop offering you help if you're just going to repeat the same question ad nauseam.

Now that I've re-read it...

You've got plenty of suggestions in your previous thread.
Everything is hard and demands a lot of time and effort. Being good in copywriting just requires way more experience than other skills you were suggested.

There are no shortcuts.

AHAHAHA I've considered learning how to steal money online(jk but it crossed my mind).

I know it doesnt work that way and maybe my mindset is flawed. But money is the only thing I seek to be honest. I'm tired of being broke and of my parents being broke. I just want to get out of this hole and have some money for me,for my parents and Im obsessed with it. Like from as early as I remember everyone told me that money is what matters, do everything for money (hearing it from boke ppl tho)

I willing to put in every single minute of my free time into it. Seriously I just joined this forum but I've been reading stuff about how to make money, about how to start a business, etc all of that stuff for about 2 years and im tired of mental masturbating with those success stories. I need to do something but everything requires money to start and im searching for a skill I can make money with without spending money because I have none. And school doesnt give me a good chance unless I leave for the states (for now i want to study computer science in college)

I've tried doing stuff in real life but shit everyone here refuses, all they do is save up money even if they are rich and i cant make money like that irl

Cut this dude some slack. It's not that we all understood how the fastlane worked the minute we were born.

Money chasing is a normal phase to be in. Just read enough topics and books and get to understand how this stuff works.

Just stop creating a new thread for every question that pops up in your head.

No offense to you,but I think your question is "event-driven".Instead of thinking with a "money-chasing" mindset, you should find out a skill that involves PROCESS,and creates a solution for others.

I get it, and being in a situation like that will cloud your thinking. Scarcity narrows your focus so that all you think about it money. That's natural.

BUT: You need to acknowledge those scarcity/money-chasing thoughts, and compartmentalize them so that they're no longer your sole focus. Literally say something to yourself like, "Yes, I absolutely need more money. More money would pay for food/housing/etc." Acknowledging the thoughts will allow them to recede into the background a bit so that your thinking can be more productive.

Then, follow the acknowledgement of the need for money with something like, "And I know that helping others will bring me more money. Others have done it, and so can I. I can figure this out."

Once you acknowledge & reassure your inner scarcity-minded, anxiety-ridden voice, you can think more clearly about who you can help & how you can help them.

Acknowledge, reassure, then get to work.

Once you have some money, they become less important. Freedom, time, moral, ethics, value and having an influence become top priorities. Not a huge amount of money is sufficient for this shift. Get your living expenses covered, have some saving to be sure in tomorrow and some funding for small desires (not cars and Real Estate). Making that shift asap really makes huge mindset difference as you set different goals that have some deep meaning and whys.

for now i want to study computer science in college
So why don't you learn web design now? It's very closely related to programming. Would be fun to be able to add some advanced functionality to your web sites later on.

I've tried doing stuff in real life but shit everyone here refuses, all they do is save up money even if they are rich and i cant make money like that irl
Have you tried offering your services for free? Happy clients will probably pay you for further services. Also, a little tip would be to target someone who trades his time for decent money. Like the middle class. Poor won't be able to pay you, rich won't care about you. The middle class will probably value their time, cause they don't have a lot of it free, though would value your services saving them their time. Of course, pricing should be appropriate at first, not very high, so it's clearly better to hire YOU than DIY.

Good Luck!

There's nothing wrong with wanting to make money.

But you need to understand, internalize, and act in accordance with this idea: it takes value to make money.

I don't think your mindset is nearly as flawed as some people here would have you believe, because you're at least willing to learn a skill. At least you understand that a skill could help other people and they might be willing to part with their dollars to have someone use that skill for them.

Instead of asking 'what high-income skill should i learn to make money online', ask 'what skill do people need, and are willing to pay for?' It's the same question, framed differently.

Or, even more specific, 'what do people need done for them, and are willing to pay to have it done?' Then you're starting from a result, and working back to a skill (or a product, or a service)

How do you find those demands? Talk to people and listen to them. How do you find those people? They're everywhere online. They say things like "I need help" (lol, pretty obvious that one) or 'How can I' or 'What can I do'. Find the first person and figure out how you'd help them. Then reach out to them with your solution and see what they say. If they say they want to talk more, great. If they say nothing, or 'no thanks', or 'already tried it', then move on.

So I guess my answer to your question would be 'problem solving'. Entrepreneurs do two things: (1) solve problems and (2) use resources to implement the solution efficiently. Open your eyes and ears to problems, and figure out how you would use resources to solve those problems as best as you can.

I think some people are overreacting here. Basically give value to people = get money for solving problem. It may be fullfilling a need for good website, bringing customers to their business, get rid of some pain points, create better prodcut or even a new one ect...

Have you read the books? If no, go buy "Unscripted" and/or The Millionare FastLane. Better go for both.

About programming I find Front-end(creating websites, what user sees)/Web-desing more freelancing than back-end(what's happening behind the scenes). I also think it's more profitable than Google Ads unless you are also doing social-media marketing.

And mindset is important AF. I'm struggling with it myself, although I'm more aware of that because of the books and somebody with "Fastlane" mindset is telling about my thinking mistakes *Thank you*. This forum also help with it tho.

Anyway take your time. You are still young and there are tons of possibilities to make money online. Good luck.

Yes, at first. But freelance programming is a direct exchange of time for money. While Google Ads are an infinitely more scalable skill. Running Ads for $150 a month is not conceptually much different from running them $10k a day.

A startup/product is a scalable option for programmers, but that's much riskier and requires a ton of other skills and some domain knowledge (or someone who has it).

It's more than 'just', it's harder then it may look.
But in general, yes. Add value and get paid (@Andy Black ;) ).

You can also outsource it if you don't own the skills (Upwork, Fiverr or friends).
You don't have to be an expert.

I know its way harder, locating the problems and then learning the skills is hella of a hustle.

But if I outsource I wont be feeling like Im giving the value I should right?
