I drive a pretty nice car, but the car never makes me happy. I'm happy way before I even get into the car.

I made a mountain with my happiness/price towards a vehicle since high school...promptly bought a POS Grand Am as first buying experience at 16, crapped out. then 97 V6 Camaro->99 Trans Am Firehawk->07 Z06->07 CTS-V->11 Cruze->wanting a beater, quit the cube, and scale a business->Ferrari 458 Italia. The Z06 was the peak of my life so far car-wise, and since I've decided to get out of unnecessary debt and go conservative/cut costs. I am an exotic car nut, so I want to have a nice stable of vehicles. To each their own...some like an accord for daily use, I want to walk out to the garage and drive whatever tickles my fancy that day. EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm still on the Cruze stage :(

When I was 15 I bought my first car, a 1974 Corvette. I worked and fixed it up through high school and sold it to BUY my 2005 Mustang. I've had it for 7 years, which really doesn't seem like that long ago.

I drive a 1998 Audi A4 Quattro.

I would not recommend it to fellow fastlaners.

I once had a 1974 Chevelle that I had dreams of turning into a street racer. But alas, my wife convince me to sell it about 18 years ago.

This is not my Chevelle but found a pic of one that closely looked like it.

Just found a picture of the 74 Vette. I remember when I was 16 and pulled up to my high school with it, I got some dirty looks. :p

I remember reading in one of your threads about how you used to have an NSX. Any interest in ever going back to that or are you happier with the S2000?
I have no idea about him, but no way he can be happier in the s2000. lol. I have NSX dreams once a week. :-(

Worst car I've ever owned hands down... the best car/truck I have ever owned was a 97 dodge dually diesel, if they made chains strong enough it could pull a house down.

I don't doubt this for one second. I got stuck in some sand at Galveston, TX and one of these Dodge duallys was the only one able to get us out. Several pickups and SUV's tried with chains but nothing beat the Dodge.
