What app you are using when switch to a new phone?

I used to do it manual for photos and media files. but don't know how to transfer contacts and messages. It would take hours to type them one by one on the new phone. So what is the most effective to transfer contacts/sms from a Windows phone to iPhone 7?

but for messages, I'm afraid you may need to try professional program or app on Google play like SMS backup + or Mobiledic Phone transfer.
