It's probably going to happen in your order anyways since it takes 2 to 4 weeks to get the tax number from the Registration and the meeting is this Friday.

So many things makes so much more sense now, after I’ve actually Read the book “the one thing”

Ive been working with micro steps for years now (inspired by the Kaizen principle) , and they work magnificent but up until i read the one thing book i often felt like i got lost in the process because the kaizen principle focus a lot on the small things we can do right now and not a lot on which way we are going with it…

reading the book made me connect the dots between the small steps i do today matches the dream i have of many years out in the future

I started reading the Book last week and it's for sure is an eye opener. I've always had problems with focus and try to get better in this regard. Another great book on the topic is "Essentialism" by Greg McKeown; Maybe you find it helpful too

This week I am primarily focusing on my competitors. It's been a while being too busy with regular work.

This week one of our main goals is to switch a lead-gen funnel into an email signup funnel and restart ads. We'll see if we can use ConvertKit and RightMessage to capture emails and other info.

Procastination and Perfectionism are close cousins.
One prevents you starting. The other prevents you finishing.
Both are fear of shipping.

Treat it as test.

This Sunday evening, when you look back on this week, what needs to have happened for you to be happy with progress?

Tbh not very happy with my progress at all, mostly because I've been action faking. So this week, I set up an upwork, freelancer and Facebook and I'm thinking of making a Fiverr. I'm trying mix different methods to do as much outreach as possible.

This Sunday evening, when you look back on this week, what needs to have happened for you to be happy with progress?

I found it very empowering that when I decided to take that first step of making the webpage for my workshop, so many other things became easier to do. So even though it has been a tough week on a personal level, I have been waaaaay more productive than all the other weeks combined

So all in all, I was happy with the progress - only thing I would have loved to have happened was a better response on my posts about my workshop, but hey thats the learning curve, right?

just bought a domain to create a landing page for an idea i've been sitting on so i will be testing google ad impressions for it by lunch time today

Ooo. I love this.

• Buy a domain.
• Slap up a landing page.
• Run ads to test it.

At some point you might create a generic type of domain that allows you to run tests for any niche. Then you can buy a more specific domain if there's a business case.

Did you do keyword research beforehand? What did that look like?

I have put together a huge list of low competition / high cpc keywords I'm going to try and rank for on my website. The plan is to build out individual service pages for these keywords and try and sprinkle in some other keywords within those pages while I'm at it.

Also going to run some Google Ads for exact match keywords. Going to show an exact match page title for those Ads and send the user to a landing page specifically made for the keyword I'm targeting.

I used keyword planner for some generic terms and then used Ahrefs to see what keywords similar competitors were ranking for and went down a bit of a rabbit hole with that. Landing page finished so time to get these ads going...

Get my online presence set up and run a first ppc campaign.
That includes buying a domain, buying a oven (don't ask haha) and getting a landing page ready till Saturday.

Launching my second product and start testing with ads

Great thread.

I am launching my 4th product on a consumer marketplace. This week I am going to (1) collect all necessary sales and pricing data (2) go through all the data and (3) decide by the end of the week on the specific product I am importing. Next, I am writing to the supplier.
