Hi Guys,

Do you know any reliable freight forwarder in NJ area? I need a 'door to container' service -> shipping to port in EU.

Thanks!

You could choose a forwarder in the EU or the US. I would suggest using a freight forwarder located in the EU. They will have representation in the US and will arrange with their representative in the US to handle whatever work is necessary at that end.

The tricky part of any shipment is more likely to be at the receiving end, so it will be easier for you to be dealing with someone who is in the same time zone if necessary. You might try The European Freight Forwarders Association :: EFFA

You could find some helpful ideas in my AMA GOLD Sharing my lifetime experience in export/import. Product sourcing specialist. but because it is so long, it might be easier for you to do a search within that thread.

thank you Walter, I appreciate your comment. BTW I love your book and the thread was source of inspiration to me. I did some research prior to asking here and I thought that the US based company is a better way. You are right- having someone in EU or even in Poland would be so much easier to do business with. Thank you!
