As I've mentioned in the past here, you should use your card at least once every six month. Otherwise you may find out too late that your bank is NOT reporting your account to the bureaus thus it will not be part of your score. This will hurt a lot in two areas: Average age of your credit history AND Debt-to-Limit ratio. This will hurt, badly, your score.
