as a landlord I would break these.

now, why hasn't someone created a plastic mold for the top 20 forms or shapes of Tank lids, for landlords, and sell the PLASTIC tank lids for a fraction of the costs. or even a one size fits many?

My 1st thought when I looked at that website ! Besides breaking...they're heavy and a pain in the a$$ to handle.

The one we need is pretty unique. For our own home.

I wonder if 3D printing can make sturdy enough one-piece plastic parts in these custom shapes, at a lower cost than ceramics. (Or even a higher cost, if they'd be more durable & hygenic in plastic.)

A day? Smart guy.

I have bought a few toilets. You can get the complete thing for under $100 at Home Depot.

This guy is a genius though, to see that market. A day, right?

It almost seems like that they designed those things to be easy to break. Now we all know where the money is in the toilet business.

So it's been 4 years and we haven't replaced either the lid or the toilet. It's our master bath so no one knows but us.
