I changed the thread title to "Things that Make You Go DAMN!" -- I borrowed the thread title from one of my favorites on the Lambo-Forum so why not here. Post up anything that will make ya go DAMN!

Holy shit! That girl that got smacked didn't do anything she was just sitting there! Is the chick the hit her mental or something? It's like she heard voices in her head and thought they were coming from the girl sitting next to her...lol! Crazy.

I've seen lots of things that made me go "DAMN!" (but not the good kind), things that I cannot un-see but I can't post them or I will surely get banned...lol! :nonod:

When I was walking through Venice, Florence and Rome. Literally had a neck cramp from all the local women. What can I say, I appreciate their natural beauty! :tiphat:

Dan Osman's speed climb. Notice him leaping at e.g. 1:04. The guy was insane.

That "Car Dance" is just the last act of the "Saab Suite," a film made in 1987 to showcase the Saab 9000 Turbo. (Which was a fun car -- I had a 1987 9000T, a 1986 900T, a 1988 900S, and I currently drive a 2002 9-5 Aero. :smxB:)

If I remember right, the "conductor" (using a wrench for a baton) was a Saab engineer.

Here's the full video:

Who would think that the big sphere is a pretty heavy solid clear acrylic ball?
I'm pretty good at CJing and several other performance arts, but this guy is the best.

If you like the original "cat" video, you should check this out: a guy in town who's opening a bar decided to post his own "eHarmony" video! LOL

Vitor Belfort truly was "The Phenom" back in the early days of the UFC.
His first 5 wins in the UFC averaged something like under 90 seconds each, and in his very first pro match he beat his opponent in 12 seconds. The Phenom.

How about a high-voltage lineman?

I always liked this one too. Anybody who's taken basic college physics (and who paid attention :smxB:) might remember the calculus equations that describe current flow when inductors are involved. Basically the equations say that it takes time to ramp up or ramp down the current flow -- you can't change the flow instantly unless you have infinite power. That's why the plug arcs when you unplug your vacuum cleaner: the current flow can't stop instantly when you interrupt the circuit so it ramps down slowly by arcing across the air gap.

Well this is just a really f***ing BIG switch getting unplugged:

"Our enormously productive economy demands that we make consumption our way of life, that we convert the buying and use of goods into rituals, that we seek our spiritual satisfactions, our ego satisfactions, in consumption. The measure of social status, of social acceptance, of prestige, is now to be found in our consumptive patterns. The very meaning and significance of our lives today expressed in consumptive terms. The greater the pressures upon the individual to conform to safe and accepted social standards, the more does he tend to express his aspirations and his individuality in terms of what he wears, drives, eats- his home, his car, his pattern of food serving, his hobbies.

"These commodities and services must be offered to the consumer with a special urgency. We require not only 'forced draft' consumption, but 'expensive' consumption as well. We need things consumed, burned up, worn out, replaced, and discarded at an ever increasing pace. We need to have people eat, drink, dress, ride, live, with ever more complicated and, therefore, constantly more expensive consumption. The home power tools and the whole 'do-it-yourself' movement are excellent examples of 'expensive' consumption." - Victor LeBow, 20th Century U.S. Economist
