Can you imagine being proud of yourself for your parents registering you to a particular government as an infant? Enough to chant a pledge of undying allegiance to a flag, to the government it stands for, and its evolving definition of “liberty and justice?”

Most Americans do this without even thinking about it.

I am convinced the creepy socialist pledge is responsible for the anger I’m describing. It is literally indoctrination, boldly hanging out in plain view.

So where are you moving to mate?

The plan is currently, with today’s laws…

First choice is USVI. Second is Puerto Rico. Third requires renouncing my citizenship, something that would be a massive pain in the a$$, but I’d likely move to one of the super low tax Caribbean islands that allow you to basically buy citizenship through investment of a million or so in the local economy.

As an American, the gang owns you, unless you live in super special US territories, in which case those super special US territories own you. To completely get rid of their grasps on you have to renounce.

I couldn’t go to Canada, get permanent residence and just pay Canadian taxes. America doesn’t work that way. No, they follow their subjects around the globe.

Why is USVI better than PR?
Mostly personal preference.

1. I like what a ~$1.5 home budget buys me there better. Unquestionably prettier.

2. Similar tax benefits with less obscure considerations like exporting a service and stuff.

3. There isn’t a risk of statehood.

4. More English. Still USA.

I have found that many Americans are EXTREMELY patriotic

You will find this to be less and less the case going forward.

I used to say, I love my country, but I hate my government.

Now I just tolerate my country, the government, and its people who continue to elect clowns in all levels of government. The country died some years ago when the media became the mouthpiece for the corporate/political class - and what we have left is a majority of obedient sheep ruled by fear and whatever agenda is put forth.

The days of "liberty and freedom" are long gone. The population prefers comfortable slavery over uncomfortable freedom.

How do you see yourself adjusting to a place with a culture that's extremely laid-back and where there's little to no hustling spirit? Very few things are going on there. For some reason I find it hard to imagine you over there as you're not the type of a guy to just relax and enjoy the day.

The businesses I’ve built are not geographically bound. I could run the chemical business from an iPhone. What I can’t do from the island, I will get on a, or eventually my, plane.

I could set up another radio studio for $3-4K.

There’s not another business I envision starting that doesn’t have a global or at least national perspective that requires much more than my own effort. So I am just the coordinator of the effort.

That said, my trend is to build small, but effective teams and strategically partner with serious capability that becomes an extension of my own. That makes my 5 man team, a company with the supply ability and resources of multibillion dollar juggernaut.

With all of them, the ultimate goal is a semi-retirement level of freedom. That said, I could use the relaxation and I’ll only be there 7 months a year. I’m keeping my Houston area residence.

I can teach my son about Ludwig Von Mises and Murray Rothbard and the reasons why we get to live in home with a 30 mile Caribbean view, and pay 4 percent taxes. I can play golf 5 times a week and buy a fishing boat.

If I decide to serve the local market, I will make the island my bitch.

In short, I’ve got this, but I also don’t view paying 50% taxes from here, an intelligent long term option.

Spot on my friend. This episode was epic.

I was thinking about a brick-n-mortar business owner living outta Chicago in the 30's

Gotta pay the mafia their due or your business gets 'hit'

The spot-on similarities between the mob and the US gov't is 1-to-1 perfect.

We have to pay their obscenely high taxes or get 'hit'

furthermore, they rigged laws that keep us from raising prices on our stock (fair-trade)

Have to pay low level employees extortion level wages, just cuz...(minimum wage BS)

And penalized for producing quality products (you're making to much $$ so now you pay more in taxes)

God help us but I think it was better when the Mafia ran things...

Killer show. Keep it up!

Ladies and Gentlemen. Episode 200 is upon us. This has been so unbelievably cool and I just want to thank my loyal listeners!

It turns out that I have something extremely cool for you guys for episode 200 that you’re not going to want to miss. I don’t have guests very often, as this isn’t some interview podcast like so many out there, but when I do, you know it’s going to be good.

Elon is wrong… And… Stop cheaping out.

I won't say much to the first chunk of the show about crypto and such. No skin in that game.

But Holy Heck, the segment about not cheaping out when starting your business.

Dude.

It was like you were reaching through my earbuds, smacking me upside my 'thinking too small brain', and speaking Gospel Truths to my soul.

Epic show and I'm getting hyped for 200!

Eater did a drive by hit piece on Steak 48 what the show was talking about.
Lol, no revealing clothing and vulgar language on shirts is racist. How about if you don't like it you don't eat there? Problem solved. We better get the Mafia, I mean the government, to go investigate them and shut them down.

Kyle doesn't start hobby businesses, he starts empires.

How long has it been? A little over a year? Already at episode 200!! To all you folks reading this, I guarantee you that he patted himself on the back for all of 5 minutes and already has his sights set on episode 300. I was taking to Kyle a little while ago and he said something along the lines of episode 1000 not being that far off. That is how this man thinks.

Just started with Episode 178...Awesome thus far!

Great show guys!

You guys are awesome! Thanks for listening and being a part of this. This radio show is literally my favorite business thing I do. It might be fun to make deals and shit, but sitting in front of the mic is just excellent for me. I love every minute.
