What a day!! I started off by sleeping in until 9 am, I couldn't get out of bed knowing I had to make 50 dials. I almost said F*** it and then I remembered about my accountability post.
I sat in front of my computer for about an hour making multiple excuses of why I can't call yet, my script sucks.. I should tweak my business overview a little more, excuse, excuse, excuse!
I DID IT!! The first two live answers, I got hung up on haha! I almost quit, but there is no way I'm going to look like a fool quitting the very first day of my accountability!
Total dials: 50 # voicemails: 25 #live answers: 9 #Sent to Info: 5
I use phone burner so it automatically leaves a voicemail and sends an e-mail to them.
Lessons learned for the day:
1) I need to have a short pitch when people ask "What is it" that generates curiosity, and gives them enough info, but not so much they don't need to check out my business overview.
2) I need to write down some rapport questions when people don't want to instantly get off the phone taking my information. (Find out a little about what they're looking for, what they do for a living etc)
3) I can't pause after asking my intro, whenever I pause they start asking a lot of questions and try taking over the call.
Overall I'm STOKED. Am I going to have any results from my calls? Probably not. Did I make 50 dials for the first time in my life? HELL YES.
