Just to be clear - the article is not discussing US tax law, it's UK tax law.

I have to say, I did a "OMG, how did I miss this?" Then I realized it wasn't US. Still a cool concept, somewhat reminiscent of the old Investor Tax Credits. Ah...those were the days....
