Hello!

I have recently set up a student storage business in Edinburgh, Scotland. I store students items over Summer for a fee, service includes picking up and delivery when students return after Summer.

I have printed flyers and posters for student accommodation to dish out.

What other methods, other than Google and Facebook ads would anyone suggest to get it out there?

Peace

Do you have a website or any ways to make yourself look credible? I wouldn't trust someone to hold my stuff unless they had some type of credibility. Also, do the schools around you have social media accounts you can pay them to post about your service?

Have you had any sales yet? Have you contacted any local students and gotten any sales there? My suggestion is to start small and start local. If it takes off, it could expand to other locations but first you might need to actually get out there and talk to people. A website might be helpful, but IMO, at this stage you need to meet your potential customers and sell them on the idea. Offer them your service and drum up some business. Offer your friends/relatives some discounts to get something started. Anything. Just start selling.

That is a terrific idea.. Self storage is huge here in the states and I would be willing to be that plenty of students ( & their parents) would be willing to pay for such a service to avoid transporting their belongings back and forth every 9 months.
