Wow, someone sees the SCRIPTED matrix!

Powerful and poignant. Really hits home with the UNSCRIPTED themes here.

There are a lot of people coming up in my mind who should see this video....
oh how i hate that dining out with people and they start interacting with their smartphones...
but I am not afraid to tell them that I will leave them with their favorite peace of toy ... I mean come on that is so rude!!!

But who am I to talk ... a friend of mine explained my usage of the smartphone like this:
she is writing me a whatsapp message for example: hi how are you?
Five days later .... blue hooks
Another two days later ... me: Hi I am fine how are you?

Well... sorry family and friends that my life is not circled around my smartphone but I have to interact with something more important... life ...

Powerful! And poignant indeed. I have really made an effort lately to keep my phone in my pocket or purse when out to dinner. I go out with people like this, and I am trying to set a better example because some of them are young. I'm really trying to engage them in conversation instead. I admit, genuine human interaction is far harder than than everyone looking at their phones. I have noticed that the people who watch a lot of TV are also the ones who are always looking at their phones too.

Completely unrelated to this topic, this animation reminds me of the first Mickey Mouse cartoons.

Wow... it's sad actually... The youth is not used to anything anymore.. But are they to blame? It's we adults, who get indulged with all this technology and fake online representation that we don't care about the 'real' life anymore... Howmany parents buy GameBoys/Ipads/... just to keep their children quiet? I mean.. when I was 'young', we had 1 GameBoy for the 3 of us... If we had behaved all day, we could play for 1 hour in total with the 3 of us.

I actually broke my smartphone last week and the screen is broken... For now I'm going to use it as it is, but I'm actually in doubt to move back to a good old (revamped) Nokia 3310. No Whatsapp, no Facebook, no mails, ... Just life as it is, living the real moment!

Great post, I'm sending this movie to some people I know...

But are they to blame?

Not really. The devices now serve as babysitters while many parents struggle to pay bills, the others, they're competing with the Joneses.

Much of modern society has forgotten that real life trumps the virtual reality of their smartphones.

People are obsessed with the life of others rather than their own.

They love to succeed at attaining high virtual social status.

Instead of experiencing reality in the present, people chose to watch life through the view of their smartphone so they can collect virtual social status.

Meanwhile, life is passing you by as it does in our scripted society.

Personally, I prefer to experience life to it's fullest with my own eyes and ears.
