To any one interested, NY has a new program that allows eligible businesses to reap the benefits of having no taxes for a 10 year period.

Maybe this is of interest to some one. A few cons from what I can see:
  • Obvious limitations of what your business can be
  • Must be on or near a college/university campus

Non Eligeable business....... What the f*** business does that leave?!?! Retail and wholesale being on the non eligeable list pretty much wipes out everything.... Is this for real?

I don't know. But so many factories are going under elsewhere. Maybe you could buy equipment for pennies on the dollar and open some type of manufacturing company.

I think this tax break is probably to encourage creation of low skill manufacturing jobs.

It says WHOLESALE and retail are ineligeable though

I'm guessing that APPLE probably spent huge money lobbying to get a tax break like this. I remember reading something somewhere about them moving some jobs back to the u.s
