Recently I stumbled upon a video that I have already seen a few times years back. I'm sure that many of you have seen it as well.

Simon Sinek, How Great Leaders Inspire Action.

This video resonated really heavily with where I am at right now because I I have more than a few ideas that fit in with CENTS and I am having a hard time deciding which to invest my time in. UNSCRIPTED lays out a frame work for making this decision but I couldn't help but feel that this element should be factored in.

Which business do I believe in the purpose of most? Keep in mind, I am asking this after I have done a CENTS evaluation on all of them.

If you feel emotionally connected to the purpose of one of your ideas then I think picking that one over another that is otherwise pretty close (maybe even a little ahead) in terms of scaling potential is the right thing to do.

Just bouncing this off of you guys. Any thoughts?

I'd be very curious what the more experienced entrepreneurs on here would say. My thinking would be almost the opposite, in that it's very hard to "fail early" with an idea you have a strong emotional connection to.

Wow that is an interesting take. I didn't even consider that trade off.
