Constructive criticismGoodafternoon,
it is Monday again. I have been thinking of applying to CVS or a job close by to have income in.
lessons this week: I do deserve to be a leader and also confidence in knowing that everyone doesn't know what the F*ck they're doing either.
I'm just not sure where to start (financially) but I remember @Practic telling me to do other task in parallel to other situations, I took it as find things that I don't have yet experience and learning and searching; that is vertical. things that i do know and able to apply to my life now and use to my advantage; that is horizontal. The graph of effective growth? I should work on that.
I read something about reading books was a slowlane proccess or coming up with ideas but not executing was slow? what would be the fastlane process to learning a skill or executing?
Finance: im F*cking broke, negative in my bank right now
fitness: pretty average, felt ashamed looking in the mirror. but i know i can put some work in.
income: Turo renting out my car
One thing lately ive been hearing is that if your at the bottom, the only way is up.
Let's unpack this!
- You started this thread 2 weeks ago making an audacious goal of making $1M in 2 years with no money, no plan, no direction. That's infinite growth from where you are today. Reasonable goal?
- You said you'd update the thread every Monday and didn't last 1 week. Then you made some excuse to yourself about why you didn't post on time. Not a good start.
- You noted a principle of "Not working a 9-5 job". 2 weeks later here you are thinking of applying to slow lane job #12.
- You're coming off as entitled a**hole by saying that you 'deserve' to be a leader; like the world owes you something at 23. Thank you for your service and F*ck no it doesn't; not as a leader, or anything else.
This is not the way to become successful.
Reread the book again. You've missed a lot of value. @Robdavis is pointing you to a solid thread. Read that too and other 'high value topics' on the forum.
Then slow your roll and set some goals with an actionable plan behind them. Try MJ's 1/5/10 technique or anything else that works for you. It's a marathon, not a F*cking sprint. Make a plan. Get prepared. Start training for it. Then run the race.
When you don't know much, you have to educate yourself. Reading isn't a wealth building strategy. It's its own exercise and is neither fast lane or slow lane. The problem comes when all you do is read. At some point, you've read enough and you need to put your learning to action.
The opposite is also true; you can act without knowing shit and you're destined to learn the hard way (ie failure); which is your current path. You can still learn that way, but it takes a lot more time, money and determination; which is why most people, like you who come before unzipping, give up just as fast.
Good luck!
