Hi everyone!
After a long time of just lurking around, I forced myself to finally write my own introduction.
I'm from The Netherlands and I'm 22 years old, I've read TMF , Unscripted and I'm currently reading TGRRE . I come from a family who have always followed the script, so I'm currently in the middle of my graduate internship (mechanical engineering) and will be graduating in July.
Luckily I won't be entering the big world with student debt since my parents have been supporting my back (which I will greatly return)
As of right now (and the past 2 lurking years) I haven't been sitting still. I've used my time to learn the special language of persuasion and have had several clients through Upwork. Started with an hourly rate of $20 (without having any experience lol) and I now average around $100/h...
Right now I'm finishing up my (hyperniche) website to eventually advertise on Google and Facebook to find some clients outside of Upwork since most potential clients on Upwork are looking for cheaper working forces.
I've also saved up some cash to invest in a real business when I get out of this internship.
After graduating in Uni, I'll have 0 plans to be working for someone else. In my previous soul sucking jobs I felt absolutely miserable and I couldn't manage to make it past the 6 month mark, I always ended up having my differences with the "team leaders" as they thought to be superior.
This post is also for keeping myself accountable when I lack in action.... (if anyone wants to be an accountability partner, hit me up!)
The problem I'm facing right now is that I have several (8) business ideas all of which don't violate CENTS... for some of you this might seem fantastic, but I have no clue on which one to pick as I don't want to enter several business ventures.
I hope to be speaking to you all more often from now on!
