Hi,

Anybody got experience / recommendations for printing and shipping books/manuals in the USA (and word wide)?

It's a 130 page us letter/A4 sized with many full color pages (photos, diagrams), coil-bound but ring-binder would be a great option as well.

Orders are usually for 1 piece at a time. Let's say 1 order a day.

I used to work with a company that printed my book/guide in small batches and shipped the orders for me. But they don't want to work with small customers anymore. So I only sell the digital (PDF) version for now - but it is hurting my sales.

I used to pay around $23 per book (up from $17 at the start) + small monthly fee + $2 per order + shipping costs.

What are the options?

1) Find another 'supplier' that prints and ships my books for me.

This would be the easiest - but they seem to be either very expensive, or can't print coil-bound / ring-binder stuff.

2) Print a batch at a printer, have them ship it to a fulfillment center

Seems to be the most flexible option. I could arrange this all remotely (I'm in Spain at the moment).

3) Have them printed here in Spain/Europe or even in the pueblo where I live and assemble them myself.

Then I could send a batch to a USA fulfillment center and a batch to a EU fulfillment center.

But then I'd have to deal with sending the books over, customs, etc.

Any thoughts, recommendations, experiences?

Thanks.
