I am looking into a niche that has about 3 pages of sellers on amazon with the product I want to do. The highest selling product has 750 reviews with a 2.9/5 rating. It has 31% one star ratings. Many videos I have watched state you should not get into a niche with so many reviews. The other higher selling ones are nothing above a 3.5 star. The prices range from $35-$300. What I plan on doing is trying to make a new product with the negatives from the other ones fixed. What are your thoughts on diving into this?

First target a product in the niche, with a price range of $35-$300 I can tell that haven't nailed down what product you even want to target.

You've already got a response from Bio himself, Id definitely read through his ecommerce thread.

What are some of the complaints in the lower star ratings? Those are obvious things you can improve on. I can't tell you wether or not to pursue the product, but use your best judgement to see if there are obvious improvements you can make and also if people want these improvements.
