I just contacted the hotel. I mentioned Fastlane Meetup and the person on the phone was able to help me. They said that they initially had it booked incorrectly. There are 2 rooms taken and 8 more available.

Shopped around for plane tickets.. difference in $50-60 if you just go directly to the plane company.

The time set on Friday is still 2pm? Room check ins is 3pm the day of and 11pm for checkouts.

Anyone still looking for someone to stay with at the hotel? It's my fault I don't have this worked out yet, but I thought I'd end up staying with a buddy, who now won't be in town. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I'm gonna make a slight change in my status. I now have a room reserved at the hotel with two beds, so anyone wishing to stay with someone else is welcome to contact me. Also, I'm still more than happy to stay in someone else's room who already has one reserved. Please let me know if you are interested.

Plane tickets went up almost $130 over last 2 weeks..

Questions - is there a shuttle from Airport to the hotel? If not, how much is the cab ride?

I asked for feedback on who would like to come when on Friday, and got a very limited response. So I waited.

Not a great decision, in hindsight. :smx4:
