Journal Entry #1
I'm sitting in Starbucks right now. I'm homeless and unemployed, but I got a laptop, my phone, and a few clothes and books in my backpack. I got $50 in my bank account and over 4 grand in medical bills which I'm working on paying off. Fun fact: I worked at this very Starbucks about 5 years ago, and every night we would throw away the food and pastries that could not go to donation into the dumpster.
I'm assuming most of you can guess what I'm about to tell you next. Well, I got a bit hungry last night, and did not want to pay for a chipotle burrito (chipotles always seem to be placed relatively close to every starbucks i come across...) anyway... so yea .... I waited till around 1 am and I peeked in the dumpster after closing and grabbed a whole garbage bag full of packaged pastry items, and i just F*cking went to town on it. Ashamed? Maybe. Full? Hell yes, those cinnamon cakes are delectable and I can't wait for round two tonight.
