Most of the apartment owners dont like to deal with the day to day of apartment buildings maintenance and cleaning.
In my country we have professionals which do that for them.
Its not that hard to setup, realistically you need about 4-5 people to upkeep around ~20 buildings.
This includes cleaning, paying electriciy and water, fixing broken windows and doors, painting etc.
