What do you guys think about self storage? How time consuming is it? How do you advertise? How do you manage- professional PM or by yourself or a friend? Any thoughts? ...What are you guys' thoughts on off-site mgmt? To those that have apartments, do you prefer to have your mgmt on-site? How do you compensate mgmt? So many questions! :smx4: :thankyousign:

Well you have to be able to be there if anyone one requires you (to either hand the keys over or get them back). However if it is just a line of garages it shouldn't be too difficult to self manage (just make sure you can remove their locks or better yet they take keys for your locks and have removable barrels, or you have key code locks).

It really depends on the size of the premises. And who your target market will be (residential vs business - biz may require on site security, etc).

Rgds.
