My daily practice

I don't post much because it's worthless unless I have something tangible or shows my progress.

My new habits are:

-Wake up before 8 am
-Read in the morning while listening to classical music, sometimes at 5 am
-I write everyday
-I do yoga and take walks,run everyday
-I practice around 2 hours of piano everyday of the week and the weekend I play guitar and try to expand my knowledge and learn new techniques. And I record something of course. I think I played like 5000 hours of guitar in my lifetime.
- I try to eat well because I have good weight to lose
- Drink a lot of water, no alcohol
-Browse the fastlane forum for inspiration( I can't pay for the INSIDERS, don't have a credit card)


That's about it. No video games and tv for me. I'm glad I don't waste my time on these distractions.

I'm not sure if being an entrepreuneurial musician can be fastlane.

You know what is my reminder for taking action? I have have this awfully painful pressure inside my head for 5 years now. It F*cking hurts and has ruined my young adulthood to this day. My doctor said it was possible to be schizophrenia. When you hear this diagnosis, it knocks you down like an elbow, terrible feeling.

Oh and you should listen to classical music, it truly calms the mind and develop your intelligence and memory.

I listen to classical music about 6 hours a day. I keep it on in the background for my students. It does calm them down and seems to set a better tone for the learning time.

Are you recording or promoting anything? What's the end goal?

"Entrepreneurial musician in the fast lane"... like, Yoyo Ma, Tupac, David Lee Roth, Kanye? like that? Yeah, it's definitely doable!

If you have schizophrenia for sure (and for god's sake, get a second and third opinion!), you'll have to carefully adjust the medicine dosage so you minimize the disease without killing your creativity. You need a good doctor to work with. Also, there is some huge connection between schizophrenia and gluten - stop eating it for a month and see what happens. It's a sucky diagnosis and disease, but it is treatable. Good for you for creating a daily practice that works!
