No, it's not mine, but it IS a place I like to go to work on my business. I get free wi-fi, lots of successful people around me and just all around good vibe.
You haven't heard of it, yet.
TopGolf.
They just opened in Alpharetta, GA the past year or so. (The original idea was actually born in the UK).
The way they did this is genius. What you don't see beyond the nets is GA 400. Hundreds of thousands of cars drive on a main interstate from N. GA Metro-Atl area to the city every day. You can see those nets from the interstate. One day I noticed them, and I'm sure everyone else did wondering... wtf is up with those nets?? (tons of free advertising)
Turns out it's a golf facility. Two levels. You can go there and eat, play golf, drink, much like a bowling place but the facility is open toward the nets to play golf in sections. They charge $25-45/hr depending on the time of day. I've been there a lot and it's almost always filled. I've gotten to know the Senior Mgr. and Fri. - Sun. they have a 3-4 hr. wait time.
He also told me they are opening another 8 locations around the states one in LV. The LV location will be 4 stories high with infinity pools. If you play the stock market watch for this company, they are booming.
This place is F*cking awesome and a great idea, which is why I love going there. It's one of the up and coming multimillion dollar ideas that has literally come to fruition near my home town, and you'll see it if you live in any area that has a condensed population in the near future.
I'm on a name to name basis with the Director, which is good because I can use the power outlet at the end of the bar and work on my business and have a good connection to the area. Although I am working on running an internet business, there's no replacement for face to face communication and networking.
