Hello everyone, here's my intro

I recently moved from the UK to Canada, and am just now planning my global domination from my desktop in the chilly North of North America.

I started out in my youth as a technical author, and now have (well) over 25 years corporate industry experience as an author, publisher, webmaster, manager, etc.

I finally left the corporate world about 15 years ago when I conceived, built, developed and finally sold a nationwide home staging franchise in the UK. I also developed a home staging training course which attracted students from all over the world.

I have now taken all the training collateral I created with the franchise and have repackaged it to launch a series of online courses in real estate home staging through the Home Staging Academy, using the Teachable platform.

Additionally, to earn a crust I run my own independent writing and publishing business (Lioness Publishing). I provide book coaching for self publishers, as well as independent POD and ebook publishing. In various pen names I also write and publish technical books and fiction. I am using my publishing skills to create promotional books and collateral to support my new Academy brand as well.

So what do I hope to achieve from the Fast Lane Forum?

Well, I am new to North America, and working from my own desktop, means I no longer have the business and friendship support I once had, so this looks like a great inspirational place to be. And while I have a product, I am starting from zero when it comes to developing my brand and student base, so I'm hoping to garner ideas on what works for others.

I'm happy to share any advice and guidance I can give from my own experiences, and look forward to being inspired by you all.
