I'm not sure that is slow lane mentality. I believe in whatever social group you're in you conform to it's norms. Since Fastlane is a social group, you proved the point of conforming. "Slowlane Mentality". You pointed this out, because you may agree with certain individuals who believe, act, and think a certain way. Like minded individuals.

It wouldn't matter what group you were in, you would take on their code of conduct, ethics, morals, belief systems, or it doesn't resonate with you. You no longer learn anything from the group, and may have out grown the group at a certain point in time.

If everyone here was sitting in a room, you would find the same thing happen if the majority ruled in the favor of acting, thinking, or behaving. In this scenario, it would be like Dan Pena's, group. If you want money, his attention, and be in his presence you conform to his rules.
