Having been in the Lexus Fastlane post category for a while,
when the hubby asked a week ago what type of car I'd like,
Lexus was the first brand to pop into my head
(I do like the car - very boxy).

So we bought a Lexus on the weekend
(used, of course).

Now, with a few more posts, I'm in the Mercedes category
and am thinking "hhhmmm.... those are nice cars too."

So I've finally figured out MJ's evil plan.
This forum isn't about wealth building, folks.
He is slowly moving us along the car range
until we're all driving Lambo's.
I betcha he's working out an affiliate deal with Lambo
as we speak.

: ) <--------- old school smiley for an old school gal

Yeeeeessss ... and i'm gonna do it all for 1 MEEELION DOLLARS! Not even the meddling kids can stop me!!! [Enter sinister laugh here!]

LOL

I think a million dollars is selling the site short, MJ.
According to AutoExtra,
I can get a 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo in Florida
for $149k
(I didn't know they were so inexpensive
but I'm guessing, not being a car buff,
that a Gallardo is their value offering).
There are 884 members here on the Fastlane.
That's $131,716,000 in sales.
Even at 1%, you'd have over a million dollars.

If only selling was so simple...

:boxing_smiley:

I'm not giving up my BMWs without a fight.

cars, a fav topic of mine =D

my entry level goal:

Porsche 911 Turbo, currently my wallpaper.

Well...in my case, after I signed up at this board, instead of upgrading my car, I sold it and now ride a (cheaper) bike LOL

Ironic, huh? Only in the short term, though.

I am doing the same...selling a 4-wheel income drain to drive the 'ol beater 17-year-old Honda.

As ODD as it sounds I want an Islero or an Espada for my daily.... and a Desmosedici for my toy. Where's my evil laugh smiley?

I still really like the Aston Martin DBS. When I reach my goal of 15k a month in passive income this is what Im going to buy

There is a guy up the road from me who has one, either that or a DB9. I don't know, don't pay much attention to Aston Martins...sharp cars though.

This is my motivational desktop, only difference is the Gallardo will either be Heffner twin turbocharged with a kit and wheels, or a Verde Ithica LP640 and a Carrera GT will replace one of those GT3 RS's

EDIT: I think there is a Ford GT in there too, that piece of garbage would have to go :) I think a Ferrari F50 or F40 would fit there nicely....sorry MJ! The Shelby can stay, it will be my beater car.

are those tv's on the walls in there???

must be to keep the cars from getting bored lol.

I was thinking the same thing about the TVs...then I wondered how anyone would get into the Rolls to drive it out, unless it is RHD.
