Here's the paraphrased version of my financial life story.
I grow up watching my dad hustle to make ends meet. The man must have worked every type of job there is. One of those was a real estate agent, which lead to RI. Of course my brother and I had the same hustle in us, selling candy to our neighborhood friends and eventually graduating to placing vending machines in businesses before we were in our teens good. Much time as passed since then and along my journey God has blessed me with mentors like Rich Dad, Micheal Gerber, and others. Like many of you, I came to know MJ through the RD forum, and reading about his life journey. Yet another mentor God has placed along my path for me to glean from. With much helpful advice on buying a business I did my dd and settled on a promotions company. www.showandtellpromo.com
I inherited several clients including Sit n Sleep Mattress Stores. Depending on where you're from you may have heard of them.
Now my focus is building my client base, assuring my existing clients that they'll be getting the same if not better service than they did before, and trying to develop a internet presence, something that the previous owner hadn't got around too. (Too busy working in the business and not on it).
Well that's about it. I apologizer for leaving out the juicy details, but I'm not the one writing a book here ;)
On my way, and I'll see you there. :fastlane:
