I had to share this with you. I've never seen this my entire life in my home town ever in the last 48 years. I did have to get a kick out of this comment. We just don't ever have this issue in our area. We have tons of people come for Coast Guard Festival every year, but we've never ever had this issue.

Why don't we taxpayers build more million dollar skate parks for the little darlings. And when they come to town and publicly brawl, shout profanities, and ignore law enforcement commands, lets not arrest them because we wouldn't want these punks and thugs to feel they're not welcome in Grand Haven. While we're at it, let's schedule more events, festivals, and fairs in Grand Haven....pack em in. Have everyone bring their pets. And when they do their business, and we step in it on the sidewalks, ride our bikes through it on the boardwalk, or our kids dig it up at the beach, lets not write out tickets because we wouldn't want these self-centered halfwits or their cute fury friends to feel they're not welcome in Grand Haven. Enough coddling those who disrespect and trash our city. Law enforcement should be allowed, or instructed, to begin enforcing laws and ordinances before all the law abiding residents pack it in and move to the Township where this kind of anti-social crap isn't tolerated.
South pier closed after brawl
A Grand Haven Department of Public Safety beach patrol officer encountered a fight involving approximately 20 women on Grand Haven’s south pier at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
