Hey, everyone. Nice to be apart of the community. Read Fastlane Millionaire a few months ago and finally decided to get the paid version of this form due the great content and like minded individuals whom partake in these conversations.

I invest in the niche of Mobile Home Parks and Multifamily properties of the commercial real estate field. This is my full time gig and I went into business for myself a little over 3 years ago and quit my job, on just my investments. I ended up reading Fastlane Millionaire because I needed a smack on the back of my head to get motivated and start gobbling up real estate again.

I have been interested in diversifying into other financial streams without having to take much time or effort away from my bread and butter. This book hit the nail on the head and should have been a course requirement at my college's business school. I can clearly state that "The E Mythe Revisited" by Micheal Gerber and "The Fastlane Millionaire" by MJ DeMarco greatly feed off of each other and should be considered "Every entrepreneurs New and Old testament for Success."

Looking forward to expanding my network with other individuals on the site and greatly expanding my investment portfolio this year of 2017. Would love to hear what others have been successful at...

Central VA. I have a few properties down your way. Hampton and Newport News is where I started.

Wise man..... That is how I got my start. Read the legendary book, "Deals on Wheels", then purchased a mobile home the very next week with a cash advance check from one of my credit cards. Four months in and after flipping 4 trailers and holding notes on 4 other trailers, I realized the real value was in the land they sit on.

Purchased my first park three months later. After having both a mobile home park (MHP) and Multifamily for over a year, the overhead and maintenance is nearly a third for mhp's compared to multifamily. Hence my companies specialty.

Thanks for the comment MJ!!

Any veteran insights on the two markets that you could enlighten me to?
Though it does not seem so , but that is a loaded open/ended question.

What are your investment goals? Why there, why real estate, which form of R.E.?

Really boils down to what your market is and exploiting the niche. I looked for the ugliest thing in my industry which lead to low competition and a potential for a higher upside if I could become a specialist in it.

Very cool, I think that's a great business -- not very glamorous so it keeps a lot of people out of the space.

I think @G_Alexander got his start with mobile homes, there might be an old thread here about it.
