Ok, I've been stuck in the slow lane most of my life, having bought into the scripted existence.

I'm now in my late 40s and have seen the light. The problem is I worry that it's too late. That I've maybe missed the boat or that the burden of the slow lane will hold me back.

I have previously failed at starting a business (about 7 years ago) but last year I quit a well paid, and relatively secure job to go consulting.

My business brings in decent money but it is still slow lane as it is me exchanging time for money.

I am in the process of leveraging my skills and those of others to build a series of related productized services to get me away from the time/money problem and build a scalable business.

The question I have is are there any other forum members that have started out later in life? If so can you share some inspiration?
