Hello Everyone -

This is my first forum post....on any forum. My third and last child started school 2 weeks ago, and all three kids are finally settled and into a routine. So now, I have no excuses to start building wealth and getting into the fast lane. Hopefully, by associating with others that are already there or on their way there, I can learn something and get motivated. Wish me luck....:driving:

Hello and welcome,

Is this my acquaintance and associate Gita?
That would be me....your acquaintance and associate...and hopefully apprentice/protegee.

I read your post about how you got started in the real estate investment business, and I was impressed at the advice you took from your coworker at HP about how to get started purchasing apartment buildngs. "Just go buy them" is what he said. Easier said than done, I'm sure.

I am following your lead. I am currently reading "How to Buy and Sell Apartment Buildings." As I am reading this book, I am now realizing that I need to set some deadlines for myself (identify opportune regions to buy, identify buildings, begin analysis of the buildings, etc.). Just reading the book isn't going to get me anywhere. Eventually, like you, I will have to pull the trigger.

Thanks Steve! I'll keep my goals and deadlines and actions updated so I keep myself honest.
