Is this kind of headline/guarantee a good idea? (copywriting advice)

Hey guys,

At the moment I am writing an ebook on dating advice, as well as an accompanying sales page. This is my first venture into Fastlane and copywriting, and I plan for it to be very much a trial-and-error learning experience.

My question is this: from experience, is it a good idea to use a headline along the lines of

"GET LAID IN 30 DAYS...OR YOUR MONEY BACK!"

On one hand, some people will surely take advantage of this guarantee as not everybody will be successful. It also alerts the reader straight away that this is a sales page. Perhaps it would be better to write "GET LAID IN 30 DAYS...GUARANTEED!"

On the other hand, surely not all people will request their money back even if they don't succeed. This is a very striking headline and hopefully it would draw more sales than something like "which of these habits are killing your chances with women?".

Any advice here would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

You have nothing to worry about.
Normally you won't see refunds on this sort of claim, and for this specific claim your refund rate will be WAY LOW.

Why?
The type of person who can't get laid in 30 days of effort isn't assertive enough to ask for their money back to begin with. They'll talk themselves out of thinking they deserve the refund.

Am I being mean? Maybe.
Am I making assumptions? Yes.
Am I also right? Hell yeah.

It depends on the awareness level of your prospect. Since everyone is aware they want to get laid and that's likely the thought on your prospect's mind of 99%, this headline can work.
I've been told be a handful of people that info products typically have a higher refund rate than physical products. I've heard numbers anywhere from 2% to 7% for info products.

One thing you could mess around with is putting a dollar amount on the guarantee. Let's say you're selling your eBook for $20. Your headline could be "Get Laid In 30 Days...Or We Owe You $20!"
It's a play on words and is technically what you'd be doing, so it might get that many more people to read your copy since it comes of as a win-win situation.

To ensure you don't get too many refunds name your company something like "Could not get laid inc" and refund by cheque this way, even if they do get a refund they may think twice before cashing it? ...good luck
